2. Forces applied to the shield are coupled to the point(s) of origin.
3. Forces applied can exceed the strength of the point(s) of origin or their supporting structure.
4. Damage to the point(s) of origin or the supporting structure will decrease or disable the force
field locally or globally.
5. Shearing or twisting forces should be applied to the force field to mechanically strain the
point(s) of origin or their support structures to the point of failure.
6. Two or more simultaneous explosions on the force field are usually required to produce
shearing or twisting forces.
